Crockett & Jones - Pembroke Dark Brown Scotch Grain Shoes

If you know Crockett & Jones, then you know what quality is. I've worn a pair of the brown versions for about nine years and they have served me very well. Ever since I saw the black version, I wanted a pair. I finally pulled the trigger on them and I couldn't be happier. The shipping was fast and the price is a bit better than what Crockett & Jones offers.

Superb shirt that would be equally suited to a formal or informal setting. Flattering tailored fit for my (rather skinny) body shape. Comfortable and soft textured linen with an unexpected two-tone effect when any light source comes into contact. The subtle contrast provided by solid white buttons was an idea coming from a designer with an understanding of balancing colours and the knowledge that people who really like nice clothes notice things like that. The whole thing seems like a reward for buying high quality.

Fit like gloves right out the box! Nothing compares to Horween Cordovan, and the craftsmanship from C&J is impressive as always. I love that this pair is unlined, perfect for the warmer seasons and great options to dress up or down. My best Penny in the collection so far!

There's no such thing as a bad Robert Old clothing item. This is a beautiful short-sleeved linen shirt in a rather unusual colour, which I've not seen let alone possessed previously. Superb materials and workmanship, as I've come to expect. A great purchase and the only thing currently missing is a cool breeze on a hot day, so it will remain on a hanger for the next four months or so.
