MR BOND, WE'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU

The wait is over. Bond is back on our screens in the much-anticipated twenty-fifth spy epic ‘No Time to Die’.

In the movie, the secret agent’s sartorial prowess steals the show, whether suited and booted, ice-cool and casual or wearing the look most synonymous with Bond – a sharp suited tuxedo teamed with the ultimate accessory - a vodka martini (shaken not stirred of course).

Our style spies here at Robert Old have got a tip-off. We’re thrilled to see famous UK footwear manufacturer Crockett & Jones is again helping Mr Bond put his best foot forward.

Robert Old is a major stockist of this range of high-end crafted footwear and has been for over forty years. We’re proud to stock shoes worn in the latest Bond movie ‘No Time to Die’ as well as classic 007 styles from ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Spectre’ all designed by this official movie partner.

Crockett & Jones have been hand-crafting shoes since 1879. Now in its fifth generation as a family firm, it’s an official partner with EON Productions, the makers of James Bond films.

Find out now about the iconic footwear starring in the latest Bond movie and how to get the top-to-toe Bond look for any mission you choose. Mr Bond, we’ve been expecting you.

SCENE-STEALER SHOES

The timeless elegance of this beautiful shoe gives it a leading role in ‘No Time to Die’,

featuring in a number of important scenes. Everything about the Highbury radiates sophistication, perfect for the suavest of secret agents to step out from MI5 in style.

Made from the finest calf leather for maximum comfort and definitive style, it features Crocket and Jones signature ‘City’ rubber sole. Made by the UK’s Harborough Rubber Company, these soles are 90% rubber, combining light weight with sure-footedness.

As Bond effortlessly shows, Highbury is the perfect choice of shoe for formal occasions and will also complement a smart-casual look. Sometimes even super spies have no time to change their shoes!

The Molton boot makes it mark in ‘No Time to Die’ as the storyline takes James Bond to Norway (not a spoiler alert we promise!). It has the characteristics of our favourite double agent – stylish and resilient. This Chukka boot style is derived from British military design, where a sturdy boot can mean the difference between life and death and has been fashioned for over a century.

The Molton is made of dark brown rough-out suede and features the famous Dainite rubber studded-pattern soles, made by the Harborough Rubber Company for over 100 years.

While the Bond boot may be used on screen for some tough encounters, we recommend a more sedate use, teaming it with a dark pair of chinos for dressed-down days. Actor Daniel Craig wore his personal Crockett & Jones Molton boots at a Bond press call - think urban edgy.

It wouldn’t be a Bond movie without 007 having to put the boot in, quite literally. Another boot favoured by James is this tough yet stylish Islay boot. The boot got its moment in the spotlight during the final dramatic scenes of ‘Skyfall’. If ever you find yourself being hunted in the Scottish Highlands by a power-crazed narcissist, your life can depend upon being sure-footed!

This brogue Derby boot is extremely sturdy. It’s fully lined, with storm welts giving it extra water resistance. It features the robust, studded Dainite sole as well as militaristic-style lacing. A perfect choice for Commander Bond with its roots in army footwear for officers and commandos.

Another ‘Skyfall’ shoe star, the Tetbury chukka boot is handmade from the highest quality wax calf. It’s available in brown, black and also in brown suede. This no-nonsense boot is strong in style and durability. Ideal for quick changes from city life to country living.

One of the most sought-after styles of the men's main collection, the Crockett and Jones Tetbury in wax calf chukka boot is a traditionally crafted plain fronted lace-up men's boot. Made from the finest calf suede leather with a Goodyear welted Dainite rubber sole, the Tetbury boot is available in a dark brown or black.

Double agents are never off duty. This Alex shoe, featured in ‘Skyfall’ is a classic must-have, ready to be pulled out of a suitcase quicker than M can delete you from her files. Made of beautiful black calf leather, this whole-cut Oxford is formal footwear style that dates back over two hundred years and still has appeal for a modern-day double-agent.

You can shop for Bond footwear Formal & Casual Men's Shoes, Boots & Sneakers (robertold.co.uk) Hurry. The phone is already ringing off the hook for styles featured in the latest movie.
